Beyond: Light Advent Collectors Edition

From the minds of Mad Head Games, creators of the Rite of Passage and Nevertales series. As a child, you had a wonderful imaginary friend from outer space. Nix taught you about the stars and inspired you become an astronomer. Years later, while investigating a mysterious object in the sky, you discover that your imaginary friend was real all along! He's come to warn Earth of a terrible threat – a merciless race of aliens is fast approaching, and you and Nix are the only ones who can stop them. Can you save both your friend's planet and your own in time? Your journey will take you into the past and beyond the stars in this thrilling Hidden Object Puzzle Adventure game!

I usually love games from Mad Head but not this one. Oh well, Apple needs to make money somehow, right? At least no rats, right Dracyy? My only complaint? Oh well, Apple needs to make money somehow, right? My only complaint? One is a radio to keep in touch with your astronomy friend, another with your alien friend nix's lifeline. The game seemed short, even with bonus adventure. It also seemed not to flow well, although I can't say it was horribly glitchy. The HO scenes had morphing objects and there was a decent variation. Good transition times between scenes one of my pet peeves that can completely ruin a great game The Bad: I did get booted out once while trying to adjust my play settings, but after restarting the game, had no issues afterwards. The diary and map were located outside the game in the menu section, a major inconvenience, and most of the time if you didn't have enough "blinks" you couldn't teleport anyway, so I didn't see the sense there! My only complaint? Humorous dialogue although the bow tie on the geek was a wee bit stereotypical!

The diary and map were located outside the game in the menu section, a major inconvenience, and most of the time if you didn't have enough "blinks" you couldn't teleport anyway, Avent I didn't see the Sparkle 2 there! Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. And he who dies with the most toys wins. You have quite a few interactive actions going on, on your screen at one time. Coklectors will love them. I will admit the graphics and cinematic effects were incredible but I didn't really understand the Mahjongg Dimensions Deluxe much and I am not a sci-fi buff. Loading was instantaneous and at each location you collect a rocket ship. It's lovely to have a sci-fi game for a change I prefer a mixture of genres, not just creepy and fairytale. Unusual story and settings; a nice break from the paranormal creepiness we've been seeing lately. There Colectors rocket collectables, lots of new mini games. They have Natural Threat: Orillas Funestas short-term sale for discount on the first four episodes. I usually love games from Mad Head but not this one. Nice collectables and morphs and it's quite a long game. You have quite a few interactive actions going on, on your screen at one time. My only gripe is that you have to access the map via the menu button but otherwise a brilliant game.

There was not a ton to do at each location, and I found that there was way too much dialogue for my taste! I will admit the graphics and cinematic effects were incredible but I didn't really understand the story much and I am not a sci-fi buff. And he who dies with the most toys wins.
